Online Therapy

I provide online therapy to women in Iowa through a HIPAA secure interface you can access from your desktop computer, tablet, or mobile phone. Online therapy can be a useful tool for women who are unable to travel to see a reproductive and maternal mental health specialist or who are confined to home for medical reasons related to their pregnancy or postpartum condition. Online therapy is also valuable for students who want a home-based therapist but would also like to have sessions throughout their time away at college.

When we schedule your first appointment, I will send you an email inviting you to join the WeCounsel platform. WeCounsel provides a simple and confidential way to complete forms and assignments, hold video sessions, and schedule appointments.

Most people already have the technology required to use wecounsel. Here are a list of covered devices:

  • Tablet (IOS, Surface, Android, Chromebook)

  • 3 years old or newer
  • Equipped with camera
  • Equipped with microphone
  • Connected to the internet with a stable, high speed connection

  • IOS (iPad/iPhone) – Download app  (Once complete, DO NOT open. Just navigate to your internet browser and login to wecounsel.)
